2020 Big River Big Woods Native Plant Sale

SUNDAY, MAY 24, NOON TO 3 P.M.

Pre-order plants: We will have a wide range of plants available from Minnesota Landscape Nursery to order this year:

Individual plants will be available as 4 inch pots or 6-packs.  Trees, shrubs, and vines will be in 1 or 2 gallon pots.

Once established, plants native to this region are low maintenance and do not require care typically associated with gardens.

How to Place Your Plant Sale Order

There are 2 ways to place your order:

1. Use our convenient on-line order form, where you can view pictures and information about each plant and place your order.  You can pay by credit card on the site.  

2. Or download and print the order form. After the form is completed mail it with your check to Big River Big Woods. Completed forms and payment should be mailed to:

Thank you for your order! Your purchases make the work of the Big River Big Woods Chapter possible. This is our only fundraiser of the year.

Plant Sale Timeline

April 24 – Last day to place your order.
May 24, noon to 3 p.m. – Plant sale day.  Pick up your plant orders.

Plant Sale Location

You will be able to shop our selection of native plants donated by members as well as a limited selection of plants from Minnesota Native Landscapes Nursery the day of the sale.  This is where you will pick up your pre-orders.

Please consider donating native plants to our sale. We provide the pots, you provide the plants!

Closer to our sale we can send a team out to help you dig plants. If you would like to arrange a team of “diggers” send an email to contact@bigriverbigwoods.org. If you would like to drop off plant donations, bring them to the sale site, Muriel Sahlin Arboretum, Roseville Central Park, 2525 Dale Street N., Roseville, between 11 am and noon on Sunday, May 24.
