Long Lake Regional Park, consisting of 217 acres, is located in the City of New Brighton in the northwestern part of Ramsey County. The park includes 1.5 miles of shoreline on Long Lake and a natural area around Rush Lake, a non-recreational lake. This natural area of the park includes cattail marshes, oak woods and a 9 acre restored prairie. There also are 3 miles of hiking/biking trails, both paved and more rugged unpaved.

The best entrance to use is the one off Old Highway 8.  We will meet at the second parking lot, right before the railroad tracks.
