Join us for a tour of Leanne Phinney’s gardens in Shoreview. Leanne, a member of Big River Big Woods, has been growing native plants for nearly 30 years, despite the added complexity of living next to a marshland and woodlands. Complexities included several years of flooding of the portion of her garden that is by the marsh, but in the last few years she has continued the process of replanting. Leanne has enjoyed incorporating marsh and woodland plants within her gardens, as well as continuing to include some non-native plants from previous landscaping. Come and enjoy wandering through her eclectic gardens!
If it is raining on the afternoon of August 9, the tour will take place on August 10 at 2:00 pm.
