Meet in the parking lot in front of our building, 4761 Hamline Av N, Arden Hills, MN 55112

Highway 35W to Hwy 96, east to Hamline, then head north on Hamline and pass through the gate at Hamline & Ben Franklin St.

(Bring a water bottle, portable restroom facilities on site, bug spray, comfortable closed toed shoes, and binoculars.)

The Minnesota National Guard is home to the Arden Hills Army Training Site (AHATS) which is located on 1500 acres of oak savanna in Ramsey County. We will tour the military training area and visit the highest elevation point in Ramsey County, view some of the best restored big blue stem prairie in the area, find and id some invasive and nonnative plants, gather prairie seeds, visit former Arsenal Sand and Gravel pit, and visit buckthorn removal project area.
