Bunker Hills Regional Park is a nice area for a fall walk. It’s a great example of the Anoka sandplain habitat with mixed prairie (short and tallgrass), oak savanna, and more modern forest in areas lacking fire activity. Much of the park requires a county park pass, so we will be sticking to the north end near the Anoka County Parks Activities Center  where there is no entrance fee.  Meet in the parking lot at 1 pm.

This Wild Ones Walk is open to the public.
